We are in this year!
MEDIA RELEASE: The Brazilian Community Association of Alberta presents the Brazilian Carnaval at the Stampede Parade 2025. This annual event is celebrated all across Brazil, four days before Ash Wednesday, in February or March. This year we bring our float with masks and feathers typical of the carnaval celebration, as well as the Boi Bumbá to honour the celebrations in some regions of the North and North Easthern region of Brazil. Our community members are dressed in outfits used in carnaval celebrations in Brazil.
