2024 BrazilFest @ Alberta Culture Days

This year we are taking part in Alberta Culture Days & celebrating Multiculturalism! This free event presents aspects of the Brazilian Culture by members of our community to all who come to visit us. It is a 2-Day event with a variety of cultural activities including an opportunity for guests to learn more about Brazil with 5 areas or pavilions representing the geographical regions of Brazil: North, NorthEast, Central West, South

This project is accredited by CBE for credits to high school students towards the “International Certificate”. This is a very important program for immigrants to have our background recognized with credits by our local Educational system, including Brazilian Portuguese as a Second Language. If you do not know about this program or for more information please email us at School@BrazilianAssociation.org as well as to take part in the info session about this program, and/or to sign-up to take part in the info session planned for Sept 12 – Thursday at 5 pm at Casa do Brasil.

As part of this initiative of presenting the 5 pavilions to the Brazilfest audience, we are also making a call for participation:

  • high school students at any grade
  • Educational instructors
  • Sponsors
